Former Videlity customers: Findus, Höganäs, Dahl, Kamstrup, Lemwigh Müller and Oticon signs agreement with PipeChain

Findus Sverige AB Findus has signed a PipeChain contract in order to continue and improve their supply chain based on automatic replenishment, consignment and traditional order processes in relation to world wide suppliers.

Findus (www.findus.se), part of the Foodvest Group, is a leader in the international frozen food business. Focused on the retail and food service sectors, they have operations in all Nordic markets, France, Central and Eastern Europe and Thailand. Findus was previously a customer to Videlity A/S.

Höganäs AB Höganäs has signed a PipeChain contract in order to continue their successful outbound vendor managed inventory (VMI) automatic replenishment to their customers.

Höganäs AB (www.hoganas.com) have a core competence in metal powder technology. Höganäs is the world’s largest producer of iron and metal products. Headquartered in Höganäs, Sweden, they have 1600 employees working at 14 locations worldwide. Höganäs was previously a customer to Videlity A/S.

Oticon A/S Oticon has signed a PipeChain contract in order to continue and improve their supply chain based on automatic supplier replenishment (vendor managed inventory - VMI) and traditional order processes in relation to suppliers.

Oticon A/S (www.oticon.com) is a member of the William Demant Holding Group WDH (www.demant.com), a leading international hearing health care company within hearing instruments, audiometric equipment, and personal communication. The WDH group employs 4500 people. Oticon develops, manufactures, and sells innovative technologically advanced solutions for the hearing impaired. These solutions are characterized by a high degree of miniaturization and integration of microelectronic and micromechanical components, as well as their wireless, signal processing, and acoustical capabilities. Oticon was previously a customer to Videlity A/S.

Dahl Sverige AB Dahl (www.dahl.se), Sweden, a leading trading company within Heating, Ventilation, Sanitation, water and sewage, industry and property supplies, has signed a PipeChain contract in order to continue to improve their supply chain, based on automatic traditional order processes in relation to suppliers. Dahl was previously a customer to Videlity A/S.

Lemvigh Müller A/S Lemwigh Müller A/S has signed a contract with PipeChain for support of the traditional order process for the customers with direct integration with IBX and Gatetrade. Lemwigh Müller was previously a customer to Videlity A/S.

Lemvigh-Müller (www.lemu.dk) is Denmark’s largest steel and engineering wholesaler with 1,900 employees and a turnover of approximately 1 billion €. Through their four primary business areas: Steel and metal, electrical supplies, VVT (tools and technical articles) and plumbing and heating they are able to cover a very large part of the product requirements of Danish industry, construction, trade and technical installation.

Kamstrup A/S Kamstrup has signed a PipeChain contract in order to continue to improve their supply chain, based on an automatic vendor managed inventory (VMI) process towards their suppliers. Kamstrup was previously a customer to Videlity A/S.

Kamstrup A/S (www.kamstrup.dk) is a high-technology company and is a world leading manufacturer of system solutions for energy metering. Production site and main administration are placed in Denmark, and Kamstrup is represented in 50 countries and have a strong international position.

09.07.2009 At PipeChain we’re involved in lots of strategic marketing initiatives that will firmly establish our company in the international arena. We are working with several spheres for growth, focusing on the cooperation between:

- Customers who need support for the global rollout of PipeChain to make their supply chain more efficient.

- Suppliers of large global or smaller local ERP systems for setting up standardized ”foundations” for our processes within traditional order management and automatic replenishment (VMI) for both suppliers and customers. Recently, we have set up our process with Microsoft Dynamics AX and NAV. We can now efficiently offer the extra value our services bring to companies throughout the world who use Microsoft Dynamics.

- Offer PipeChain to suppliers of global services for managing electronic business communication between companies. PipeChain is perfect as an add-on service for monitoring, using deviation management, graphic alarms, email alarm, and identifying risks for shortcomings in the supply chain. It provides support for planning, execution, monitoring and follow-up of new supply chain processes, such as VMI.

The processes of each sphere are based on PipeChain’s three step model for processes that create added value: monitor and automate current processes – share more information and find out where you really have a problem in the supply chain – share responsibilities and introduce new processes for increased cooperation and added value in the supply chain.

There are many exciting initiatives in progress at PipeChain right now, such as company acquisition, setting up in Denmark, developing our customer relations and our software platform, and several other activities where we use the current economic climate for future investment.

PipeChain acquires Videlity business and secures continuation of customers’ operations

19.06.2009 PipeChain AB, a Swedish based supply chain software and services company, acquires Videlity A/S’s assets as a result of Videlity A/S being in liquidation. By this acquisition, combined with recruitment of personnel previously employed by Videlity A/S, PipeChain secures the continuation of Videlity customers’ operations relying on a supply chain management software from Videlity A/S.

Advocate Ole Erlich-Eriksen, who has been handling the liquidation of Videlity A/S, confirms the PipeChain purchase of Videlity and will answer any questions concerning the acquisition.
