Supply Chain Management is a major concern for businesses: continuing pressure on costs, demand for greater product variety, more customized products at lower prices and suppliers often based overseas - to name just a few of the challenges. On October 5th, the Institute of Operations Management hosted a conference in Scunthorpe, England to provide insight into the experiences of a wide range of European companies.
